Old flames rekindle their love and that is what we have here in the brand new 2019 Hallmark movie All Summer Long. However, it is more than just that.
Tia (played by Autumn Reeser) is a lawyer but she has always wanted to be on the water, sailing, building a connection with nature. She finally got her break and became the captain of a dining cruise, but the head chef of the boat is also her ex boyfriend Jake (played by Brennan Elliott). Jake quitted his old job to pursue a cooking career on the dining cruise because he wants to be creative with his cooking, be bold and bring exciting items to his customers. Jake and Tia have to work together to fulfill both of their own dreams; during this process, they both realized they are still in love with each other. They understand and complement each other like no one else.
It is a romantic story with a happy ending. There is a lot to be said about chasing your passion and doing something you love. While it is hard for a lot of us, as long as we keep searching, we never give up, we will eventually find it. This is the part of the movie that I really really love and it is very inspiring.
