Starting in the 1990s at the dawn of the Internet Age, Purdue University’s College of Education has provided online education to a growing clientele of students. Interim Dean Phillip J. VanFossen discusses the College’s online history and 21 programs with Timothy J. Newby, professor of Learning Design and Technology in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction, maintaining that our programs are unique and high-quality „quinoa” in a field of „wheat” in online education programming.
