This helicopter was manufactured in 1973 in Kumertau, Russia. It flown in the CCCP between 1973-1994, was used for small transport flights in registration of CCCP-19334. After 1994 she was bought to Hungary, Szécsény. She got Hungarian registration this time. The team had a lot of work there, but later they changed it to a new type, Alouette II.
Albatrosz 97 Kft. had an accident last year, where their helicopter, HA-MRA was destroyed. To replace the chopper they bought HA-MCB and during the winter repainted it.
We met with the team in the home station, Agárd. After cold engine start the chopper flew to Lovasberény. The team had around 40 take offs for the day, but they had to stop flight because the weather got too warm for spraying.
The chopper landed to the farm of lovasberény Lovasberény.
Ezt a helikoptert 1973-ban gyártották Kumertauban, az egykori Szovjetunió területén. Szovjet
lajstromban repült 1994-ig, majd egy magyar cég megvásárolta és Szécsénybe került. A környéken sok munkája akadt, de a munkák csökkenésével a cég úgy döntött lecseréli egy Alouette II-re.
2014 nyarán az Albatrosz 97 Kft. Kamov helikoptere egy baleset során súlyosan megrongálódott, leváltására vásárolták meg MCB-t. A szezon végét még régi fehér színében repülte le, de a télen megkapta a cégre jellemző sárga-vörös ruhát.
Kora hajnalban találkoztunk a csapattal agárdi telephelyükön. Füstös hidegindítás után a helikopter átrepült Lovasberénybe, ahol a falu határában 40 felszállás napraforgó gombaölő várt rá.
Az idő napközben gyorsan melegedett, ezért abba kellett hagyni a munkát 11 körül. Az esti lehűlésig a csapat az egykori lovasberényi TSZ. területére tette a helikoptert.
