HSBC, 코로나•디지털 뱅킹 영향에 영국 내 지점 82개 축소
Banking giant HSBC will close 82 of its UK-based branches.
The bank will be left with slightly over 500 branches following the phased closures throughout the year.
HSBC said the closures are not entirely related to lockdowns and restrictions, but also part of its plans to become a market-leading digital bank as the pandemic accelerated a shift to online banking.
Staff in branches facing closure will be re-located to other branches.
