Loki and Scarlet Witch? Pepper Potts and The Hulk? Killmonger and Valkyrie? The actors from Marvel’s Cinematic Universe boast some long resumes, including roles where they played lovers together! Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. starred in a romcom together back in the 90’s, and finally met again on the set of Captain America: Civil War. Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Olson, Scarlet Johansson, Tom Hiddleston and Bradley Cooper all ended up playing lovers with other actors from the MCU multiple times! Some of them even ended up dating each other in real life after feeling a spark between them on set.
From rom coms to dramas to biographies, the cast members of the MCU have been playing love interests with each other in all sorts of genres. They’ve even been starring as couples in other franchises like Godzilla and the Rocky series! Marvel movies may be all about crossovers, but we don’t think these flicks will be canon anytime soon, even with Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness and Loki’s Disney+ series opening the doors to multiple universes and even more time travel.
